Job summary

Med-Trans Corporation in Albuquerque, NM is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) to ensure the safety and airworthiness of our rotor-wing fleet. You will maintain Leonardo 119 airframes and support timely patient transportation services.

The position requires an A&P license, turbine helicopter maintenance experience, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. A strong safety mindset and FAA regulations knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Leonardo 119 maintenance experience required.
• Three (3) years turbine helicopter maintenance, with at least six months in last 24 months.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license required.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) knowledge required.
• EMS systems and maintenance records knowledge.
• Must live within an hour of base and pass FAA drug/alcohol tests.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull 100+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical inspections, repairs, and service with FAA compliance.
• Manage inventory checks and update equipment tracking logs.
• Document service paperwork and FAA information per procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment for aircraft maintenance team and crew.
• Coordinate with departments, vendors, and team members to facilitate maintenance.
• Collaborate with allied health and operations teams as needed.
