West Star Aviation in Grand Junction, CO is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) at multiple proficiency levels. Responsibilities include inspecting, repairing, and overhauling civil aircraft, with duties ranging from component removal to engine work. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Airframe or Powerplant license required; airframe preferred.
• 0–2 years aviation maintenance/related experience for AMT I.
• 2–4 years aviation maintenance experience for AMT II; corporate aircraft preferred.
• 4–6+ years aviation maintenance for AMT III; corporate aircraft preferred.
• 6+ years aviation maintenance; AMT IV Master level.
• Must follow FAA guidelines and safety rules.

Responsabilités

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove and install panels and components; troubleshoot systems.
• Defuel aircraft; engine removal/installation; operate ground support equipment.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components; assist taxiing and performance runs.
• Maintain shop facilities, equipment, and tooling; navigate maintenance data bases.
