Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur client operates within the aviation industry, providing an extensive range of technical services including Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), Engineering, Component Repair, and Parts Development. Located in Kansas City, MO, the Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor will play a pivotal role in supervising a specialized team to ensure the airworthiness and compliance of all maintenance activities. By ensuring efficient operations and safety practices, you will support organizational goals and customer satisfaction by delivering on-time maintenance services.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and guide the maintenance team across various specialties, ensuring high performance and adherence to ATS requirements.
  • Oversee maintenance activities to ensure compliance with FAA and customer standards, ensuring all work is completed in an airworthy manner.
  • Manage maintenance planning and material coordination to support efficient workflow and aircraft delivery milestones.
  • Promote a safe work environment by identifying and eliminating hazards, ensuring compliance with all safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively about aircraft status, scheduling, and customer requirements.
  • Mentor and train mechanics, while recommending process improvements to enhance workflow and efficiency.
  • Conduct performance reviews and support team development by providing regular feedback and coaching.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of recent commercial aircraft maintenance or MRO experience is .
  • At least two (2) years of aircraft maintenance leadership experience is .
  • Airframe or Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification is required.
  • Strong knowledge of FAA Part 121 and 91 regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in communication, project management, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to multitask across various projects and lead a team effectively.
  • Familiarity with MS Office, Oracle, AutoTime, and Gateway programs is beneficial.
