Principal Accountabilities
- Plans and coordinates all aircraft maintenance activities, including inspections (special, conditional, phase, etc.).
- Dispatches and monitors assigned tasks and jobs to work centers.
- Keeps Maintenance Director informed about aircraft status.
- Manages work assignments to ensure aircraft availability supporting flight schedules.
- Monitors the NALCOMIS/OOMA system to report work performed and current status.
- Prepares daily Aircraft Maintenance Status Readiness Reports (AMSRR) to support long-term maintenance planning.
- Coordinates and prioritizes outstanding maintenance actions.
- Ensures compliance with current sections of NAVAIRINST 3710.1(series) and CNAFINST 4790.2 Series, as applicable.
- Maintains aircraft historical records and other related files.
- Responsible for mission configurations and coordinates with civil service work centers for system support and checks.
- Ensures and coordinates shift pass-down logbooks between work centers.
- Verifies all Maintenance Action Documentation before submission to the Navy, working with Logs and Records for timely data entry and logbook updates.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment, observing all safety regulations.
- Trains and instructs subordinate employees in proper work methods.
- Performs other duties as assigned, including supporting lower-rated personnel and reassigning contract personnel as needed.
- Tasks personnel with transporting pilots when necessary.
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of basic supply procedures.
- Knowledge of technical directives and CNAFINST 4790.2 Series.
- Working knowledge of applicable aircraft (F/A-18, AV-8, & H-60).
Minimum Education and Experience
* Military VMET or JST must be included with application if prior military *
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline preferred, or equivalent experience with USN/USMC aircraft maintenance management.
- Minimum 15 years of aircraft maintenance and material support experience, with at least 10 years in direct maintenance, inspection, or modification roles within the last 15 years.
- At least 6 of the last 10 years must include supervisory experience with responsibilities for work prioritization and assignment.
- Experience supervising daily flight operations personnel supporting maintenance.
- Ability to write clearly and accurately with technical precision.
Physical Requirements & Environment
- Valid U.S. driver license required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Clearance; active clearance preferred.
- Must be able to obtain and sustain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance; US citizenship required.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $100K - $105K USD, based on education, experience, and market data.
