Position Title : Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor

Contract Type : Direact Hire

Job Overview : The Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor oversees the daily operations in assigned functional area. Ensures that maintenance tasks and functions are carried out in compliance with the applicable requirements of the air carrier maintenance program and their inspection procedures manual. Provides training and development for mechanics.

Responsibilities :

• Provides supervision, guidance, and prioritization to assigned team, across multiple specialties and Company requirements.
• Ensures that all work performed by self or those under their supervision, including subcontractors, is performed in an airworthy manner and in compliance with approved technical data and has had all maintenance steps accomplished.
• Utilizes customer package to ensure proper maintenance planning and execution, ensuring application of FAA and customer requirements.
• Supervises the maintenance, preventative maintenance, or alteration of, or approve and return to service any aircraft or part thereof.
• Coordinates communication to Leads and crew as needed which may include aircraft safety, planning, and quality.

Education & Experience :

• Minimum of five (5) years' recent commercial aircraft maintenance and / or MRO experience preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years' aircraft maintenance leadership experience preferred.
• Airframe, or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification required.
• Based on location, may be required to pass background check for SIDA (Security Identification Display Area) or AOA (Airport Operations Area) badge.
• The noise level in this work environment is usually moderate to high. May occasionally work near moving mechanical parts in high, precarious places and may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. May work outside in various types of weather.
