Sun Country Airlines in Minneapolis, MN is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Shift Manager (MSP) to oversee maintenance operations, coordinate with planning, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. This role involves supervising MSP maintenance personnel, monitoring daily operations, and driving timely corrective actions while managing budget considerations.

The position requires an A&P license and 2+ years of technical operations experience, with proficiency in TRAX and AIMS.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of Technical Operations experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to multitask in high stress situations.
• Strong sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the direction and supervision of MSP maintenance personnel.
• Monitor daily maintenance operation and analyse issues for corrective actions.
• Assist in hiring and determine training/qualification requirements for line maintenance personnel.
• Schedule short-term, routine, and non-routine work to be completed timely and efficiently.
• Assist in preparing line maintenance budget including staffing, facilities, and equipment.
• Monitor cost performance and establish corrective actions for deviations from budget.
• Monitor flight schedule performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Sun Country Airlines manuals and applicable regulations.
• Assist mechanics in daily maintenance operations.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Planning to schedule nightly MSP workload.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance in all tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
