Piedmont Airlines, Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Parts Clerk in the Maintenance Department to stock and inventory parts, monitor shelf life, and perform storeroom duties. The role reports to the Aircraft Maintenance Parts Supervisor and may require occasional travel between bases.

Essential duties include issuing parts, proper packing for shipping/receiving, and handling ESD-sensitive items; basic computer skills are required, and HazMat shipping knowledge is preferred.

The primary responsibility of the position is to perform storeroom duties such as stocking and inventory of parts and supplies, monitoring shelf life. This position will report to the Aircraft Maintenance Parts Supervisor.Essential Duties:Issue parts and suppliesEnsure proper packaging and handling during shipping and receivingHandle electrostatic-sensitive device (ESD) partsOccasional road trip between maintenance basesJob Qualifications and Competencies:Storeroom / Inventory or warehouse experienceBasic computer knowledgePreferred Qualifications:Trained in HAZMAT shipping and handlingWork Environment:Airport ramp/warehouse environment, subject to varied weather conditions and elevated noise levelsUse of telephones, computers, and other office equipmentAll shifts including weekdays, weekends, nights, holidays and/or irregular shiftsSome travel is requiredPhysical Requirements:Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, lifting, climbing up and down stairsHandle objects up to 70 pounds regularly, up to 100+ pounds occasionally, with assistance from co-workers or toolsThe above statements provide a brief description of the general nature of work performed and are not intended to be a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required for this position.
