The Aircraft Maintenance & Parts Accountant is responsible for managing financial records related to aircraft maintenance and parts inventory. This role ensures accurate accounting for maintenance expenses, oversees OEM invoice processing, and maintains the integrity of the general ledger in compliance with industry standards.

The Aircraft Maintenance & Parts Accountant is responsible for managing financial records related to aircraft maintenance and parts inventory. This role ensures accurate accounting for maintenance expenses, oversees OEM invoice processing, and maintains the integrity of the general ledger in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and reconcile aircraft maintenance accounts and parts inventory records.
• Process OEM invoices and ensure timely payment and accurate accounting.
• Oversee the financial aspects of the ESP program, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
• Prepare monthly financial reports related to maintenance costs and inventory.
• Maintain the general ledger for aircraft maintenance activities and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to track and report on budget variances and maintenance expenditures.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounting within the aviation industry, particularly in maintenance accounting.
• Strong understanding of OEM invoicing and ESP program requirements.
• Experience with general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
