Job summary

Thrive Aviation in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Lead to supervise a team of technicians performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on FAA Part 135 business aircraft. You will plan tasks, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and coordinate with vendors.

You will mentor technicians, drive process improvements, and maintain high safety and quality standards while managing downtime and efficiency. This role requires leadership and hands-on expertise.

Qualifications

• Current A&P certificate required.
• 5+ years aircraft maintenance with 2+ years in supervision.
• Knowledge of FAA Part 135 maintenance requirements.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
• Detail-oriented with a safety focus.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and Teams.
• Team player and flexible to work outside normal hours.
• Corridor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift of maintenance technicians for scheduled/unscheduled tasks.
• Plan and prioritize maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Ensure FAA/regulatory compliance and company policies.
• Evaluate new equipment or procedures for safety and efficiency.
• Coordinate with vendors to complete tasks cost-effectively.
• Provide tools, equipment, and support to technicians.
• Mentor technicians to improve skills and safety awareness.
• Identify process improvements for efficiency.
• Promote a safety culture within the team.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
