Job summary

Metrea LLC in Moreno Valley, CA is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Crew Lead. This full-time role oversees inspection, maintenance, and repair of Boeing C-135 series aircraft, leading a crew and ensuring airworthiness, safety, and regulatory compliance.

You will perform daily inspections, coordinate with flight operations, and maintain detailed records. Requires 7+ years in heavy aircraft maintenance, an A&P license, and strong leadership and communication skills; FAA standards apply.

Qualifications

• 7+ years working with heavy commercial or military aircraft, towing, jacking, and hazardous material use, storage, and disposal.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, determining causes of errors and choosing actions to resolve maintenance challenges.
• Must take initiative and work independently with good command of English, oral and written.
• Multi-Point Refueling System experience is a plus, as is CFM56-2B jet engine experience.
• Able to read diagrams and schematics and follow FAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Aircraft Maintenance Crews during inspection of mechanical and electronic components to identify discrepancies and airworthiness.
• Fill leadership roles such as work leader and task certifier; manage resources and personnel.
• Repair and maintain all systems of Boeing C-135 series, including hydraulics, avionics, jets, electrics, and fuel systems.
• Perform daily inspections, launch/recover, refuel/defuel, debrief aircrew, troubleshoot, and use GSE.
• Record maintenance in automated systems and ensure compliance with FAA directives.
