Job summary

RTX is seeking a Crew Chief, Aircraft Maintenance to support RTFlight operations in East Granby, CT. You will plan, perform, and oversee maintenance, repair, inspection and record-keeping to ensure airworthiness and compliance with RTX and FAA standards.

This onsite role requires travel up to 10% and involves coordinating schedules, managing costs, supervising offsite repair projects, and ensuring proper documentation, parts, and tools are available to maintain high aircraft availability.

Qualifications

• University degree or advanced degree with required experience.
• Valid A&P Certificate must be held.
• Knowledge of Flight Operations Manual and CFRs.

Responsibilities

• Manage and perform aircraft maintenance, repair, modification, inspection and record-keeping to ensure airworthiness.
• Plan, implement, and oversee procedures for scheduling and maintenance of aircraft; maintain documentation and logs.
• Oversee offsite major repair/overhaul projects and ensure compliance with RTX and FAA standards.
• Travel up to 10% to support RTFlight operations and audits.
