Job summary

V2X, a global maintenance and logistics provider, seeks a Maintenance Control Clerk/Aircraft Issuer to coordinate aircraft maintenance actions in Meridian, MS. You will schedule, track, and release maintenance, and provide guidance to Maintenance Control staff.

The role requires knowledge of maintenance manuals, records, and post-maintenance checks, with strong communication and a customer‑oriented approach. A high school diploma and significant aviation maintenance experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five years of aviation maintenance/production control experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD CAC.
• Valid state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties of Maintenance Control Clerk and Aircraft Issuer/Dispatcher.
• Establishes and maintains maintenance inspection schedules.
• Schedules maintenance actions (dailies, inspections, washes, phase inspections).
• Oversees configuration management and cannibalization processes.
• Maintains cleanliness and adheres to FOD/TCP rules.
• Prepares aircraft readiness reports and tracks high-time components.
• Releases aircraft or returns for further maintenance.
