Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking an Aircraft Interior Technician to join our Millville, NJ team. You will work on private aviation interiors, performing installations, refurbishments, and related mechanical tasks in a hangar or shop environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of experience in private aviation interiors; strong reading of blueprints and manuals is preferred, along with basic computer skills and clear English communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years' experience with private aviation interiors preferred.
• Must be able to read blueprints and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft interiors and related systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair damaged or worn interior components.
• Make minor modifications to panels, seats, carpets, cabinetry, and upholstery.
• Measure, cut, and fit materials for interior refurbishments such as leather and fabric.
• Assist in aircraft detailing and cleaning; maintain shop facilities and tooling.
• Navigate electronic training materials and maintenance databases; read reports and blueprints.
• Communicate clearly in English; follow FAA guidelines and safety rules.
