Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation in the United States seeks an Aircraft Inspector IV to inspect aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment and parts to ensure airworthiness and conformance to manufacturer specifications and government regulations.

You will lead complex inspections, develop and implement inspection protocols, mentor junior inspectors and ensure accurate documentation of findings, with duties including audits of maintenance processes and deployments to CONUS/OCONUS locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Active, current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification with IA designation.
• Advanced knowledge of aircraft, systems, equipment and parts.
• Familiar with audit/inspection processes and tools for airworthiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee complex aircraft inspections.

Applicants who do not currently have a USG security clearance are welcome to apply and, if selected, will be processed for a USG security clearance by SNC prior to employment. Employment will begin once the USG security clearance is granted.
