Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Typically 2+ years of aviation inspection experience; a higher-level degree may substitute for experience.
• Active FAA Airframe (A), Powerplant (P), or Repairman Certificate.
• Experience inspecting aircraft, systems, equipment, and components.
• Basic understanding of aviation audit and inspection processes and procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment while maintaining quality and professionalism.

In this critical role, you'll help ensure aircraft, systems, equipment, and components meet strict FAA regulations and manufacturer specifications, playing a direct role in maintaining the safety, reliability, and airworthiness of every aircraft you inspect.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities

As an Aircraft Inspector, you'll use your technical expertise and FAA certification to verify the quality and airworthiness of aircraft throughout the production and maintenance process. Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform in-process inspections of aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment, and components in accordance with your FAA inspection authority.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Typically two (2) or more years of relevant aircraft inspection or aviation experience. A higher-level degree may substitute for experience, and related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Active, current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe (A), Powerplant (P), or Repairman Certificate.
• Experience inspecting aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment, and components.
• Basic understanding of aviation audit and inspection processes and procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment while maintaining the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting aviation maintenance or inspection operations.
• Background in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
• Military aviation or U.S. Department of Defense experience.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement and quality assurance practices.

Work Environment

This role requires working in an active aerospace environment and may include:

• Frequent standing, walking, climbing stairs, and repetitive hand movements.
• Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions, loud noise, fumes, and hazardous materials.
• Occasional lifting and carrying of up to 50 pounds.
• Strong visual acuity, color differentiation, depth perception, and hearing ability.
• Working in a safety-sensitive position involving aircraft, hazardous materials, and specialized equipment.

Pay Details: $38.00 per hour
