Job summary

Kalitta Air, Llc is seeking a Project Manager for 2nd and 3rd shift hangar operations in Oscoda, MI. The role reports to the Director of Base Maintenance and leads maintenance workflow, parts handling, and staffing to ensure aircraft stay on schedule.

Requires an A&P license, CFR Part 65 certification, and extensive heavy turbine aircraft maintenance experience. The ideal candidate will oversee budgeted hours, ensure proper documentation, and coordinate cross-department activities to deliver

Qualifications

High school diploma with some college or technical training desirable.
A&P license required and must be certified under 14 CFR Part 65.
Minimum of 20 years of heavy turbine powered aircraft maintenance experience.
Experience on Boeing equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Review training records of subordinates to identify deficiencies and training needs.
Schedule workflow with other departments to keep aircraft on schedule.
Proper handling, storage, segregation, and identification of parts during repair.
Schedule maintenance staffing for each customer visit to deliver quality on time.
Oversee man-hours, budgets, and estimates for customer visits.
Review completed paperwork for proper documentation and signatures.
