V2X, Inc. seeks an aircraft support specialist to provide line services for scheduled flight operations, including inspection, servicing, cleaning, launching and recovery of aircraft.

The role requires operating self-propelled ground equipment and working mainly outdoors. Candidates must obtain a DoD CAC, have a HS diploma or equivalent with aircraft experience or A&P license, pass the Plane Captain Board within 120 days, and be able to travel up to 40%.

Qualificações

• Must obtain and maintain a DoD CAC (Common Access Card).
• HS diploma or equivalent with aircraft experience and/or A&P license; or completion of an Aviation A School; or OJT certification on selected tasks.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Must pass Plane Captain Board within 120 days.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English; travel up to 40%; rotate shifts; valid driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Launch and recover aircraft following guidelines during day and night shifts.
• Perform aircraft inspections per published criteria.
• Fuel aircraft using gravity fill and closed-circuit methods.
• Service engine oil and hydraulic systems as required.
• Assist as a member of an aircraft moving crew.
• Perform aircraft washing and lubrication when assigned.
• Act as part of the engine rinse team when directed.
• Operate portable firefighting equipment and safety gear as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and flightline.
• Adhere to FOD prevention rules and Company Tool Control Program.
