Placements24, on behalf of our client, is seeking a diligent Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Technician to maintain and repair a fleet of ground support equipment in Welkom, Free State. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of tugs, loaders, air-start units, and related machinery.

You will work in a busy workshop, interpret manuals, ensure safety, keep detailed records, and support fast aircraft turnaround times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a mechanic or technician with a focus on heavy equipment, or specialized GSE maintenance.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides.
• Experience with troubleshooting and repairing a variety of vehicles and machinery.
• Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
• A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities
