Job summary

The City of Arlington is seeking an Airport Services specialist to service arriving and departing aircraft, providing excellent customer service while performing fueling, ground support, and related operations. Under general supervision, you will handle lavatory servicing, baggage handling, water service, towing, and windshield washing.

You will conduct safety checks, inspect equipment, communicate with the Air Traffic Control tower, accept fuel deliveries, and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Driver's License required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of airport experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fueling aircraft and handling fueling operations.
• Lavatory servicing, washing, and water service.
• Loading/unloading luggage and towing aircraft.
• Communicate with Air Traffic Control using proper terminology.
• Inspect and maintain airport equipment; report discrepancies.
• Maintain records of fuel distribution and deliveries.
• Greet passengers and assist with luggage as needed.
