Menzies Aviation is seeking a dedicated Aircraft Fueler in Windsor Locks, CT. You will fuel aircraft, defuel as needed, and perform routine checks while maintaining safety and accuracy in all fuel transactions.

Must be able to work weekends and outdoors in various weather conditions. Prior CDL or Oil & Gas experience is preferred, with a focus on safe handling and precise weight/balance procedures.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to read, write and speak English and perform basic math calculations.
• Lift and move up to 70 lbs while handling fueling carts and hoses.
• Outdoor work in all weather; variable shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Experience with CDL or Oil & Gas industry is preferred.

• Keep accurate records of fuel transactions.

Role Purpose

The aircraft Fueler responsibility is to the safe and efficient fueling/defueling and servicing of aircrafts at the airport. You will need to perform simple mathematical functions such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing with regards to weight, measurement and volume to interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions as they pertain to fueling.

This role requires you to maintain a safe and secure work environment, in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures.

What you will be doing

• Perform fueling in a safe and efficient manner, drive and operate fuel trucks, hydrant cards, and stationary carts to fuel aircraft.
• Responsible for accurate accounting of fuel transactions
• Perform daily Quality Control checks on equipment, maintain equipment in clean and functional condition.
• Ensure the correct loading and balancing of fuel.
• Responsible for defueling aircraft as directed.

• Work is done primarily outdoors; must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Prior experience preferred including possession of a Commercial Driver's License or experience in the Oil and Gas Industry (preferred)
