Job summary

Menzies Aviation in Denver is seeking an Aircraft Fueling Team member to safely fuel/defuel and service aircraft. You will read load instructions, interpret weight and balance data, and maintain strict safety and security standards on the ramp.

  • Drive and operate fuel trucks, hydrant cards, and stationary carts to fuel/defuel aircraft in a safe and efficient manner
  • Responsible for accurate accounting of fuel transactions
  • Perform daily Quality Control checks on equipment
  • Maintain equipment in clean and functional condition
  • Ensure the correct loading and balancing of fuel

Job description

Role Purpose

As a member of the Menzies Aviation Aircraft Fueling Team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient fueling/defueling and servicing of aircraft. You will need to perform simple mathematical functions such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing with regards to weight, measurement and volume in order to interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions as they pertain to fueling. This role requires you to maintain a safe and secure work environment, in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures.

  • $22.00/hr.
  • Additional $50.00 per week for Good Attendance
  • $40.00 Monthly Bus/Train Voucher or FREE Airport Parking

What you will be doing

What we are looking for
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must pass all pre-employment testing including drug screen, FBI background, employment history, and physical
  • Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations
  • Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Prior experience preferred including possession of a Commercial Driver’s License or experience in the Oil and Gas Industry (preferred)
  • Starting at $22.00 per hour

The individual must also be able to open and close large value on 16" product delivery pipelines quickly. Opening and closing these values involves twisting and pulling motion and sometimes considerable physical exertion. Other tasks include digging and shoveling, such as snow removal around equipment and office. Employee may also engage in debris removal which involves lifting, bending and stooping. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
