Job summary

flyExclusive is a fast-growing private aviation company seeking an Aircraft Fuel Accounting Manager for our Raleigh office. You will oversee fuel usage, costs, and regulatory compliance to optimize expenses across stations.

Responsibilities include reconciliations, budgeting collaboration with Finance, supplier invoicing, and audit-ready records. Ideal candidates bring 5–10+ years in accounting or aviation operations and a related degree; CPA/MBA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Aviation Management, or related field.
• 5–10+ years in accounting, finance, or aviation operations.
• Experience with fuel accounting, airline operations, or logistics strongly preferred.
• CPA and/or MBA preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Fuel Accounting & Reconciliation: Manage daily, weekly, and monthly fuel accounting processes.
• Financial Management: Oversee fuel-related expenses (taxes, surcharges); analyze variances.
• Vendor & Contract Oversight: Maintain relationships; validate invoices; ensure pricing accuracy.
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure aviation standards compliance; prepare accruals and reports.
• Team Leadership: Manage fuel accounting analysts; provide training and process guidance.
