Job summary

J.P. Morgan Wealth Management is seeking a Lending Professional, Analyst in New York to own and manage an existing loan portfolio, coordinating with Lending Advisors and Credit partners to ensure timely funding and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in Wealth Management.
• Strong understanding of legal documentation, coordinating commercial real estate transactions and/or loan closing activities.
• Initiative and proactive attitude to help provide leverage for the team; confidence executing projects with limited supervision.
• Ability to understand and navigate bank systems under tight timelines and deadlines.
• Good judgment and discretion working with highly confidential information.
• Superior multi-tasking and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability for sales and client relationship management.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe PDF.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary owner of the existing loan portfolio while performing various aspects of sales management.
• Lead portfolio review meetings and manage prioritization for Lending Advisors and Credit partners between existing maintenance of portfolio pipeline and new activity from Lending Advisor.
• Partner directly with clients, internal Middle Office teams and required third parties to manage deal progression and funding, ensuring an excellent client experience.
• Prioritize and own risk exceptions to maintain and protect portfolio health.
• Discover and navigate prerequisites of each lending solution during credit risk and legal process to deliver solutions.
• Monitor loan portfolio health and resolve discrepancies related to billing; escalate with Client Service Groups.
• Lead loan document quality control with JPM counsel to ensure documents reflect the deal; coordinate with Credit Risk Management.
• Support initiatives related to regulatory, industry, and legal changes.
• Collaborate to analyze client financials needed for loan requests or to resolve portfolio liquidity issues.
• Coordinate modifications and renewals of existing credit facilities with client and risk management.
• Collaborate with Lending Advisor on research inquiries and reporting tasks.
