This position is for an AIRCRAFT ENGINE MECHANIC, WG-8602-10 with the Position Description Number D1636000, part of the PA 193rd Special Operations Wing, National Guard.

As an AIRCRAFT ENGINE MECHANIC, WG-8602-10, you will:

This is a Dual Status Excepted Service Technician position in the Pennsylvania Air National Guard.

*NOTE: Verification of Secret Security Clearance is required for accession.
General Experience: Experience with assembly/disassembly and modifications of aircraft engines and accessories, using hand and power tools.
Specialized Experience: Routine assembly/disassembly, maintenance overhaul, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of aircraft engines and components, diagnosing maintenance needs.
Quality of Experience: Experience should be evaluated based on duties performed, not just time served. Must demonstrate necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Note: If more than 15 qualified applicants per category, a KSA board will be convened.
