Qualifications

• Preferred at least six (6) months of mechanical experience or relevant technical training.
• EPA refrigerants certifications are a plus.
• Must read and write English and understand technical manuals.
• Physical ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Background check, drug test, and hearing test required for safety.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, repair, assemble, and test aircraft engine components to ensure safe departures.
• Safely use tools, chemicals, and equipment for shop and aircraft-related tasks.
• Learn maintenance utility processes and assist in cost-saving initiatives.
• Maintain maintenance records, parts tracking, and cost documentation using computer systems.
• Adhere to Delta policies and standards; support 24/7 operations including shift, weekend, and holiday coverage.
