Delta Air Lines, Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Support Mechanic (ASM) as an entry-level TechOps role to help maintain the safety and reliability of the fleet.

You may work independently or with Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMTs) to learn and perform inspections, installations, and minor repairs across interior systems and aircraft components. Under mentorship, you will gain hands-on experience reading manuals, following drawings, and applying maintenance procedures, while upholding Delta's

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and interpret manuals and schematics.

Responsibilities

  • Performs inspections to locate wear or damage affecting safety and reliability.
  • Reports issues, malfunctions, or damage to appropriate personnel.
  • Tests machinery, components, and equipment for proper function.
  • Installs, removes, or modifies aircraft structures, systems, or components per drawings and orders.
  • Maintains repair logs documenting preventative and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Interprets specifications, drawings, blueprints, and diagrams for work activities.
  • Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes.
