Job summary

V2X, Inc. seeks an experienced Aircraft Mechanic II (Electrician) Contractor to perform depot-level maintenance on H-53 aircraft electrical systems, including installation, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting. Must be able to travel across FRCSW sites in the US and potentially abroad.

DoD contract role with stringent safety and certification requirements. Responsibilities include wiring overhaul, component testing, and compliance with technical directives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum experience as a certified H-53 Aircraft Electrician OR 10+ years experience on Naval/Marine Corps aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Perform Depot Level Maintenance on H-53 electrical/electronic components and wiring.
• Overhaul, repair, modify and test electrical system accessories (motors, inverters, relays, etc.).
• Install, troubleshoot, calibrate and test complex electrical systems on military aircraft.
• Set up test positions with oscilloscopes and meters.
• Pass FRCSW and ARA certification training.
