Job summary

V2X, Inc. in Ridgecrest, CA is seeking an AM II Egress Technician to diagnose, repair, and overhaul aircraft egress systems and related environmental and oxygen systems, with O-Level maintenance and flight-line support in accordance with US Navy CNAFINST 4790.2.

Qualified candidates will have Navy egress training, 5+ years CNAF maintenance experience, DoD secret clearance eligibility, a valid driver's license, and an honorable discharge. Salary $53.11/hr with full benefits.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must have completed Navy Egress Class "C" school.
• Minimum five years USN/USMC/USCG CNAFINST 4790.2 (series) aircraft maintenance support experience.
• Minimum three years T/M aircraft maintenance experience for the specific T/M aircraft.
• Candidate must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be eligible to qualify for and able to maintain a DoD secret security clearance.
• Candidates must have been released from military service with an Honorable Discharge.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul aircraft engines and assemblies, including ejection seats and related systems.
• Perform scheduled/unscheduled O-Level maintenance on egress, environmental, and related systems.
• Perform flight line essential services in support of the daily Flight Schedule; team lifts of ordnance may be required.
