Placements24 seeks an Aircraft Dispatcher to support flight operations from their George hub. You will plan and oversee flights, ensuring safe, efficient departures while adhering to regulatory guidelines.

Work with pilots, ATC, and ground crews to manage schedules, fuel, and weather assessments. The role requires expertise in aviation regulations, strong organization, and the ability to adapt to dynamic operational demands.

Qualifications

• Valid Aircraft Dispatcher certification or equivalent.
• Experience in flight operations or dispatch within an airline.
• Strong knowledge of aviation weather, navigation and aircraft performance.
• Proficiency with flight planning software and operational systems.
• Excellent communication and decision-making under pressure.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Develop and approve flight plans considering weather, fuel, and constraints.
• Monitor flight progress and provide updates to flight crews.
• Ensure compliance with domestic and international aviation regulations.
• Coordinate with air traffic control, maintenance, and ground ops for seamless execution.
• Prepare and disseminate NOTAMs and weather reports.
• Manage schedule changes and disruptions effectively.
