Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Must read, write, understand, and carry out instructions in English.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Successful completion of IDS classroom and OJT de-/anti-icing training.
• Airport badge or background check required for this location.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe environment during the de/anti-icing operation and follow company policies and procedures.
• Inspect aircraft for frozen contamination after deicing.
• Spray aircraft with deicing fluid as required.
• Participate in pre-planning for the de/anti-ice event (check equipment, trucks, and servicing gear with fuel or glycol).
• Ensure proper shutdown of pads and complete paperwork/log books; report maintenance issues.
