Job summary

The Inland Group of Companies is seeking an Aircraft Deicer to support de-icing operations at Aspen/Pitkin County (ASE) in Aspen, CO. This part-time/seasonal role involves inspecting aircraft for ice and applying de-icing fluid following safety procedures.

The ideal candidate is at least 18 years old, with a high school diploma (preferred), English language proficiency, basic computer skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule in variable weather conditions.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, understand and carry out English instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe environment during de/anti-icing operations.
  • Inspect aircraft for ice and frozen contamination after deicing.
  • Spray aircraft with deicing fluid according to procedures.
  • Assist pre-planning for de/ice events and inspect equipment.
  • Log maintenance issues and follow shutdown procedures.

The individual in this position inspects the aircraft for ice and for remaining frozen contamination after the deicing has been performed.
