Job summary

Aviation Technical Services in Everett, WA is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to service, repair and overhaul aircraft to ensure airworthiness under minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Airframe and/or Power Plant license required.
• 1 year as General Mechanic or 3 years related aircraft experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and manuals.
• Meet FAR 65 regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, modify, replace and maintain aircraft in assigned area.
• Develop repair schemes using SRM or engineering data.
• Read and interpret manuals, drawings and bulletins to determine repair methods.
• Communicate progress and issues with maintenance teams.
• Complete tasks and on-the-job training; clock to jobs.
• Perform operational tests and ensure safety and quality.
