Job summary

AAA USA Inc is actively seeking an Aircraft Composite Technician to support major aerospace repair and manufacturing programs in multiple locations. You will lay out, assemble, pre-fit, and bond diverse composite and metal parts, working with autoclaves and finishing equipment to meet engineering specs.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in aerospace composites, strong bonding and finishing skills, and the ability to interpret prints and orders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of aerospace composite experience.
• Ability to lay out, assemble, pre-fit, and bond composite parts.
• Experience operating autoclaves, presses, and ovens.
• Strong reading of prints and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Lays out, assembles, pre-fits, and bonds metal and composite parts and assemblies.
• Fabricates and inspects fiberglass, acrylic, and other components per specs.
• Operates autoclave, hydraulic presses and ovens to complete bonding cycles.
• Sands, burrs and finishes bonded areas and seals edges.
• Interprets prints and work orders to determine materials and processes.

AAA USA is actively hiring experienced Aircraft Composite Technician professionals to support major aerospace repair and manufacturing programs in Multiple Locations. Key Responsibilities:

• Lays out, assembles, pre-fits, and bonds a variety of metal, compositor laminate fabrications, assemblies, parts, skins or equipment.
• Team with others to fabricate, assemble, form, finish and inspect a wide variety of structural and non-structural fiberglass, acrylic and other composite and metal parts, tools and assemblies.
• Follows engineering and manufacturing specifications and orders to determine parts to be bonded and the temperature and pressure required. Cuts parts or materials to size.
• Operates autoclave, hydraulic presses and ovens to complete the bonding cycle. Sands, burrs and smoothes over areas.
• Applies sealing resins to cut or exposed edges. Process methods and sequences vary depending on compounds, contours and lay-up transitions. May perform complicated rework or repair.
• Obtain required information from prints, charts, sketches, work orders, documents, verbal and electronic information.

Experience:

• 3+ years of aerospace composite experience.
