Job summary

Aviatron in Essex Junction, VT is seeking an aircraft maintenance technician to perform maintenance on commercial aircraft components and ensure orders meet Repair Group standards.

The role offers hourly pay from $26 to $30, with bonus potential and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) match, and vacation/sick days. Flexible work arrangements are noted where applicable.

• Ensure work is performed in accordance with operations policy and procedure, including daily verification that all aircraft material is identified, maintained, preserved, and segregated.
• Ensure data used for maintenance and alterations is current per repair station requirements.
• Record the work performed on the appropriate maintenance record.
• Research to ensure manuals and data are current and appropriate for tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.

Overview Of The Position

Perform maintenance on commercial aircraft components. Work to ensure that customer orders are completed within the Repair Group's standards and procedures.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Qualified on several units and can work independently.
• Ensure work is performed in accordance with the operations policy and procedure, including daily verification that all aircraft related material in area is properly identified, maintained, preserved, and segregated.
• Ensure the data being used to perform maintenance and alteration tasks is current per the repair station requirements.
• Record the work performed on the appropriate maintenance record.
• Perform the necessary research to assure that technical data and manuals are current and appropriate for associated tasks.
• Other duties that may be assigned.

Base salary range: $26.00-$30.00 hourly, plus bonus potential, comprehensive health/dental/vision/Life and disability insurance, 401(k) match up to 6%, and Vacation, sick days, flexible work.
