Job summary

Aviatron, Inc. is seeking an aircraft component maintenance technician to perform maintenance on commercial aircraft components in a repair group. The role requires independence on multiple units and strict adherence to procedures.

Base salary ranges $26.00-$30.00 hourly with bonus potential and comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) with up to 6% match, and vacation/sick days. Some related experience and education are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related college courses or certificate preferred.
• Minimum two years of related experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.

• Ensure work is performed in accordance with the operations policy and procedure, including daily verification that all aircraft related material in area is properly identified, maintained, preserved, and segregated.
• Ensure the data being used to perform maintenance and alteration tasks is current per the repair station requirements.
• Record the work performed on the appropriate maintenance record.
• Perform the necessary research to assure that technical data and manuals are current and appropriate for associated tasks.
• Other duties that may be assigned.

Overview of the Position:

Perform maintenance on commercial aircraft components. Work to ensure that customer orders are completed within the Repair Group's standards and procedures.

Education / Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required. Prefer some related college courses, certificate or associate degree. Minimum two years' related experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
