Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in St. Louis is seeking an Aircraft Component Repair Technician 2 to repair and overhaul aircraft assemblies and components.

Under moderate supervision, you will read blueprints, interpret engg documents, and perform mechanical and electrical repairs to return parts to service. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and experience with sheetmetal, hydraulic overhaul, electrical harnesses, or related work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required and ability to read blueprints/engineering docs.
• Experience interpreting blueprints and using precision measuring tools.
• 2 years in sheetmetal, hydraulic overhaul, or electrical/electronic work advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul mechanical and electrical assemblies per manuals and drawings.
• Set up and operate test equipment for functional/operational tests.
• Maintain conformance to FAA Repair Station requirements and proper paperwork.
