Job summary

Northeast Aero Compressor Corp. is seeking skilled technicians to join our aviation repair team in New York. Openings cover Pneumatic, Rotating, Fuel, Electro/Mechanical, and Hydraulics departments.

The role involves testing, troubleshooting, disassembly and assembly of aircraft components, following OEM specifications, and on-the-job training by NEACO management. The ideal candidate has 3–6 years in an MRO environment, strong mechanical aptitude, hand-tool expertise, and English fluency.

Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of experience in an MRO environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Expert with hand tools.
  • Proficient with soldering (electrical and/or circuit boards).
  • Ability to follow instructions and work according to written procedures.
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Able to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, manuals.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and highly organized.
  • Experience with testing and repair of units.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Own a basic set of hand tools.

  • Test and repair aircraft components per manuals, drawings, procedures, and training.
  • Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area.
  • Complete all company forms and reports accurately.
  • Collaborate with co-workers to meet goals set by management.
  • Assist in shop upkeep and routine maintenance.
  • Communicate clearly with internal and external representatives, including FAA/airline inspectors (training provided).
