Job summary

Flying Food Group seeks a Driver to load and unload catering for aircraft, ensuring safe, timely delivery to flight services. You will operate on the tarmac, follow airline and company specs, and maintain hygiene and safety standards.

Responsibilities include handling cargo, coordinating with kitchen and ramp teams, and complying with HACCP guidelines. Flexibility for shifts including weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Possess a valid CDL with a clean driving record.
• Read, write, and understand English to follow safety guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Willing to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. Screening: pre-employment drug test, Port Authority background, TSA clearance.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports catering goods to and from aircraft per loading/unloading instructions.
• Complete catering within designated timeframes while following security protocols.
• Load and unload equipment using proper handling methods to prevent damage.
• Follow Ramp Safety and Airport Operations procedures for safe operation.
• Maintain HACCP-compliant food handling and personal hygiene standards.
• Communicate effectively with flight kitchen staff and ramp agents.
• Keep catering vehicle clean and perform daily checks.
• Report delays, discrepancies, or safety concerns to supervisor promptly.
