Job summary

Flying Food Group is seeking a driver associate to assist the Driver in delivering catering to aircraft and other locations. The role focuses on safe, efficient loading and unloading per company procedures and flight schedules.

The position requires teamwork, physical fitness for lifting, and flexibility with hours. CDL license is preferred but not mandatory. The work is outdoors and may involve shift work at a 24/7 facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in field operations; airlines experience a plus.
• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work any day of the week and varying shifts.
• CDL license preferred but not required.
• Work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Load catering vehicle according to off-loading specifications.
• Ensure airline is correctly catered and equipment in place.
• Load and unload aircraft in a safe and efficient manner.
• Off-load vehicles at facility to ensure efficient processing of airline equipment.
• Verify meal carts based on flight configuration and completeness.
• Monitor temperatures of carts to ensure HACCP compliance.
• Drive safely and follow airport transportation rules.
• Report vehicle repairs on log and to management.
