Job summary

SAIC seeks an Aircraft Battery Test Engineer to support the US Navy in Crane, IN. You will provide engineering support to aircraft battery programs, perform test and evaluation, data analysis, and generate technical reports.

The role includes testing Lead Acid, NiCd, and Li-ion chemistries and developing mission profiles with LabVIEW-driven systems; interim secret clearance is required to start, with the ability to obtain a secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 2+ years’ experience.
• Interim secret clearance required to start with ability to obtain a secret clearance.
• Candidate must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct engineering support to Aircraft Battery Programs and Special Programs.
• Perform test and evaluation of aircraft batteries and data analysis; develop briefs and technical reports.
• Support the Government with big data techniques to identify indicators of failure modes and end-of-life characteristics across chemistries.
