Job summary

Precise Systems is seeking an Aircraft Avionics Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and monitor complex electrical and electronic systems in aircraft jamming pods. The role supports Naval Test Wing Atlantic at Patuxent River, MD and requires careful interpretation of technical data and adherence to safety standards.

You will work under senior leads to ensure mission readiness of electronic warfare components, including the Next Generation Jammer (NGJ), with travel less than 10% and required

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical theory and aircraft-specific tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, manuals and technical data.
• 2+ years of NAWC/NAVAIR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair avionics on aircraft jamming pods to ensure mission readiness.
• Interpret blueprints, manuals, and technical data to perform repairs.
• Adhere to NAVAIRINST 3710.1G and approved procedures and maintain tool accountability.
• Support detachments with travel <10% and perform duties as assigned.
