Additional information:
- The starting hourly rate for this position is between $22.00 and $34.00 depending on your prior work experience.
- When you work in excess of 40 hours within the pay period, you are eligible for overtime paid at 1.5 times your hourly rate.
- When you work on a Contour Airlines observed holiday, you are eligible to receive holiday pay paid at 2 times your hourly rate.

Summary of Essential Duties:
- Read and utilize blueprints, maintenance manuals, ATA codes, and other maintenance documents to troubleshoot and complete work assignments.
- Update maintenance and repair logs.
- Run diagnostic tests.
- Perform routine maintenance operations or repair of the aircraft according to all specifications.
- Conduct inspections of aircraft components for leaks, cracks, and other issues.
- Document maintenance procedures.
- Practice safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes.
- Troubleshoot defective aircraft systems and components effectively.
- Use gauges and diagnostic tests to detect malfunctions.
- Use power and hand tools.
- Complete all tasks within the allotted time frame and quality standards.
- Promote safety within the workplace.
- Other duties as assigned by leadership.
Work Environment:
- Airport ramp/warehouse environment, subject to varied weather conditions.
- Exposed to noise and vibrations when testing engines.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling.
- Standing for extended periods.
- Handle objects up to 70 pounds regularly.
- Able to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Regularly wear protective gear.
Qualifications:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
- Possess high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must have a valid driver license and good driving record.
- Must understand, read, and write English.
- Possess strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Able to coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Must pass a DOT required pre-employment drug screen.
- Able to pass a 10-year work history review and submit to criminal background checks.
- Operational knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet navigation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- FAA Airframe and Power plant license.
- Five years or more experience in corporate and general aviation aircraft.
