Job summary

AVmax is seeking an Aircraft Avionics Technician to provide technical guidance and maintain customer aircraft in Jacksonville, Florida. This full-time role requires a minimum of 3 years' experience in the field, with an A&P License and strong critical-thinking skills being highly desirable.

The Aircraft Avionics Technician reports directly to the Department Lead.

  • Provide technical assistance or guidance to the crew.
  • Communicate when tasks are complete so next trade can move onto the job.

  • Sign work sheets and work cards for work accomplished - completely and accurately.
Qualifications
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with other individuals throughout the organization.
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the field.
  • Individuals with an A&P License, FCC, CRJ 200/700, Dash 8, ATR 42/72, & EMB 120/135/145 experience desired.

Most training modules will be assigned as part of the onboarding program and must be completed within the first 3 months of employment. Please refer to your onboarding schedule for further details.
