Job summary

Embraer seeks an avionics/electrical technician to maintain and troubleshoot aircraft systems, including navigation, communication, radar, and instrumentation. You will install, test, and repair avionics components in accordance with FAA and OEM procedures.

Responsibilities include wiring harness fabrication, system integration, and executing functional flight tests, with an emphasis on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• A&P or FAA Repairman Certificate (Avionics) required.
• FCC License, desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance inspections on avionics and electrical systems and conduct functional checks on navigation, communication, and flight control systems.
• Fabricate wiring harnesses and install/modify avionic and electrical systems.
• Follow FAA-approved procedures and OEM data for maintenance work.
• Inspect completed work and perform rework to meet standards and tolerances.
• Set up and perform functional flight tests on electrical and electronic systems.
