Job summary

Broetje Automation-USA in Charleston, SC is seeking an Automation Technician to maintain robotic-controlled, automated fastening machines at the Boeing South Carolina facility. This full-time role requires 3+ years in industrial automation, Siemens Step 7 PLC troubleshooting and CNC experience, and strong electrical/control system knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must have strong electrical and control system knowledge.
• Experience with IEC61131 PLC languages.
• Willing to work weekends and travel to sites.
• Proficient in electrical panel troubleshooting.
• Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical and controls engineering support for new equipment.
• Serve as SME for Siemens PLC/HMI and motion control systems.
• Travel to customer sites for commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Maintain logs and records of duties performed.
