Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a hands-on assembler to manufacture, assemble and refurbish aircraft parts and structures. You will align components on jigs, drill precise holes, and perform fitting, filing, and repairs per blueprints and shop orders.

The role requires blueprints literacy, tooling experience, and a strong emphasis on quality, safety, and efficient work pacing. Eligible for a comprehensive benefits package and a stable, on-site work environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience in aviation, manufacturing, and/or assembly.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications/technical publications.
• Experience with basic hand tools (drills, torque wrench, inspection tools), installation of specialty fasteners, complex rework/repairs, and use of precision instruments.
• Ability to locate holes from blueprints by hand lay out, required tooling, or technology-based platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture, assemble and refurbish aircraft parts and structures per prints and shop orders.
• Align parts on jigs using templates/fixtures; drill close tolerance holes; perform part-fitting and minor shaping.
• Read and verify dimensions, monitor quality and initiate corrective actions.
• Perform corrosion inspection/repair per engineering requirements.
