AVMAC LLC in San Diego seeks an Airframes Mechanic to maintain exterior aircraft structures and airframe system components for the Customer. The role covers inspections, repairs, and trouble-shooting of airframe systems, using schematics and diagrams to ensure airworthiness.

Rotational work schedule with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, paid time off, and a 401(k). Minimum high school diploma and NAMTGD/OMA course completion required.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Four years’ experience in aircraft repair.
• Completion of NAMTGD or equivalent OMA maintenance courses.
• Experience repairing structure with sheet metal, fiberglass and composites.
• Knowledge of corrosion control and aircraft painting techniques.
• Knowledge of Naval publications and NALCOMIS documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect, maintain, repair, and service aircraft structure and airframe systems.
• Perform hourly, calendar, phase, and conditional inspections per maintenance cards.
• Troubleshoot airframe, flight control, and landing gear systems.
• Use color-coded charts for aircraft piping and lines.
• Read schematics, shop sketches, and prints; interpret technical data.
• Use power tools and precision measuring devices in maintenance and repair.
