Job summary

Jet Linx is seeking an Accountant to support accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing and financial analysis, contributing to accurate reporting, timely month-end close, and responsive support to internal teams and aircraft owners. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required, no prior accounting experience is necessary.

The role requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or related field.
• No previous accounting experience required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; willingness to learn flight operations software.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting basics.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Team player who can work independently as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly balance sheets and income statements for aircraft owners.
• Post journal entries, accruals, deferrals and reclasses.
• Review owner statement pass-throughs for accuracy.
• Reconcile flight software to the general ledger.
• Process member trip invoicing and post sales transactions.
• Respond to customer and owner inquiries with supporting documentation.
• Process fuel and vendor invoices and record payables.
• Reconcile pilot credit cards and allocate charges.
• Maintain knowledge of GAAP and accounting practices.
• Ensure regular on-site attendance and adherence to Jet Linx values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
