Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Specialist, Systems Engineer in Waco, TX to join a development team in the Systems Engineering department, supporting requirement development, design and architecture generation, test, integration, and certification of complex airborne systems for defense and commercial customers.

You will lead cross-disciplinary teams, translate customer and airworthiness requirements into verifiable system-level requirements, and communicate technical information effectively

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience.
Graduate degree with at least 2 years related experience.
In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of directly applicable experience.
Experience in systems engineering and integration.

Responsibilities

Design and develop physical architectures for airborne systems.
Translate requirements into verifiable system-level requirements.
Lead cross-disciplinary IPTs and coordinate with customers.
Prepare effective presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
Use Microsoft Office and PLM tools.
