Stfrancis is seeking an Electrical Engineering internship/co-op in the United States, Texas, McKinney area. You will troubleshoot hardware, analyze data with MATLAB, and prepare designs and specifications.

You must be pursuing an EE or related STEM degree with at least 60 credits completed, and strong communication skills are preferred. Relocation eligibility and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

• Troubleshoot hardware and process issues down to circuit card assembly (CCA)/Module and component levels, including analog, digital, power circuitry, and interfaces.
• Troubleshoot test sets down to component level, including analog, digital, radio, and microwave frequency circuitry and interfaces.
• Analyze test data of products to ensure test specifications are met using software tools such as MATLAB.
• Generate and update documents, drawings, designs, and specifications.

About You

The company is looking for:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Minimum of 60 credit hours completed by the start of the internship/co-op session.
• Preferred qualifications include strong communication skills, including report writing and presentations.
• Ability to conduct failure investigations and provide recommendations to address systemic issues and prevent recurrence.
• Experience with Manufacturing Engineering.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as LabVIEW, LUA, C, MATLAB, and Python.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $37,000 to $82,000 USD, based on experience, role, location, education, and skills.
